This week at Crumbl

Crumbl

Crumbl, like many companies, has a great story. But there’s a deeper story that is is touched on every Monday when the rotating menu hits the website, the app, and the actual locations, and that’s the inner resonance of each item with some memory, some taste from long ago, or with some currently seductive possibility.

Some cookies won’t work for me (can’t eat chocolate), but still appeal. Some are mini-stories or cultural references. In any case, both Crumbl and their customers are having a lot of fun, and, as news items go, it’s a sweet topic.

The only challenge for me is that the closest Crumbl outlet is 90 miles away (Cedar Rapids, Iowa). Maybe that’s a good thing, since I am hoping to keep the weight down. But every time we trek to CR, it’s MUST. GO. CRUMBL.
